Isak has struggled in recent times, but Sheringham thinks he has the potential to make a big impact in the Premier League next season.

"I loved watching him play for Newcastle United when he was firing on all cylinders," Sheringham said. "He's definitely a player who can make a difference, but he's had a tough year with injuries."

Sheringham hopes that Isak will be able to return to form and be back to his best for Liverpool next season.

"He's getting a good pre-season with Sweden at the World Cup, which will help him prepare for the new season," Sheringham said. "I'm sure the Liverpool fans are eager to see him back to his best."
