During his time at CD Mafra, Iheanacho received significant playing time and had a successful season. Now, he believes that returning to FC Midtjylland will allow him to gain more experience and develop as a player.

Iheanacho is familiar with many of his new teammates, as some of the players he worked with in the U19 team and at CD Mafra are now part of the first team at FC Midtjylland. He is looking forward to being a part of the club again and contributing to its success, including potentially competing in the Europa League.
