Kevin De Bruyne, a former player for Manchester City, scored his first goal for his new team Napoli in their opening Serie A game against Sassuolo on August 23. De Bruyne joined Napoli after his contract with Manchester City expired at the end of last season.

He made his full debut for Napoli in the match against Sassuolo, a newly promoted team in the Serie A league.

De Bruyne took a free-kick from near the sideline and kicked the ball with great force. Unfortunately, no Napoli player was able to get in the way, and the ball flew past the Sassuolo goalkeeper Stefano Turati and into the net.
