Locatelli believes that both players will make a positive impact on the league, despite their ages. He said, "De Bruyne and Modric are two champions, two legends of today's football. It's an honour to challenge them, to face them."
Locatelli has played against them before and admires their skills. He added, "I've played against them before, and there are so many things I could learn from both of them, but the really beautiful thing is to compete with them."
Paolo di Canio, a Lazio legend, also shared his thoughts on the veteran duo. He said, "I will enjoy their play, but I'm sorry that no one has looked for them in Europe. We took them from the first."
Di Canio also commented on the fact that the two players are still playing at a high level at an advanced age. He used a term to describe them, saying, "They come to wonderful places, but to a tournament that in their memories is the 2006 World Cup."
Locatelli is looking forward to competing against the two experienced midfielders and learning from them.
