Ramos, who will turn 40 in March, believes that playing regularly in a league that aligns with the Spanish style and competing in top-level tournaments could increase his chances of being called up to the Spanish national team by coach Luis de la Fuente.
It's worth noting that Ramos hasn't played for Spain since 2021 and was not selected for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar or the upcoming Euro 2024 by current coach Luis de la Fuente.
