Real Madrid have announced the signing of Bernardo Silva on a two-year contract. The 31-year-old midfielder had interest from Barcelona and Juventus, but ultimately chose to join the Spanish giants under the guidance of Jose Mourinho.A statement from Real Madrid confirmed that Silva will be a part of the team until June 30, 2028, bringing an end to his nine-year association with Manchester City.

With Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries, and Marc Cucurella already joining Madrid, Silva becomes the latest addition to the team in a rebuild led by Mourinho.

The midfielder will now focus on preparing for Portugal's World Cup opener against DR Congo, before joining his new team in their quest for silverware.
