During the final whistle celebrations, Henderson and Guardiola had a brief interaction, which was sparked by a contentious moment in the game where Henderson was not given a red card for allegedly handling the ball outside his area.
Henderson explained that he tried to shake Guardiola's hand, but the Manchester City manager seemed upset about the time-wasting tactics used by Palace.
Henderson said: "I just went to shake his hand but obviously I think he was disappointed with the time-wasting. I said 'you got the 10 minutes that you wanted'. No hard feelings."
On the hand-ball incident, Henderson clarified that he was uncertain about whether the call was made for him specifically, and admitted he didn't know what the referee was doing.
He also credited his penalty save to Erling Haaland's generosity in choosing to pass the ball to Omar Marmoush instead of taking the shot himself.
