The transfer of 22-year-old striker Will Osula from Newcastle to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan for the 2025-26 season has not gone ahead as planned.
Osula will continue to play for Newcastle and provide backup for new signing Nick Woltemade and upcoming arrival Yoane Wissa.
He joined Newcastle from Sheffield United in August 2024 for €10million and has made 16 Premier League appearances, scoring two goals.
Notably, Osula scored an 88th minute equaliser in Newcastle's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool, before Rio Ngumoha sealed the win for Arne Slot's team in added time.
