Szoboszlai also credited his teammates, particularly Trent Alexander-Arnold, who normally takes the free-kicks. He said, "Trent has an amazing shot, but I finally got my chance and was able to score."

Szoboszlai explained that he didn't practice this specific shot in the last few weeks, as they were taking free-kicks from closer distances. However, he decided to take a risk and shoot it harder, considering the goalkeeper's tendencies.

"I've studied the goalkeeper's movements, and I knew he likes to jump behind the wall. I wanted to make it harder for him to save it," Szoboszlai said.
