The incident occurred at a training session, when Pedro clashed with then-Brighton teammate Jan-Paul van Hecke.

From Chelsea's Club World Cup camp, Pedro explained, “I believe people who know me understand my personality. When two players are highly competitive, disagreements can happen, and it's a normal part of the game.”

“It was simply a moment between two players who wanted to win. As I've mentioned, I now play for Chelsea, and I'd like to focus on my new team.”

Although Pedro enjoyed his time at Brighton, he is now a part of Chelsea and prefers to discuss his new team.
