Despite limited playing time, with only two appearances in the Carabao Cup, Ramsdale has expressed his desire to sign with Newcastle on a permanent basis.

Newcastle paid a loan fee of £4m to secure Ramsdale's services, and Southampton is expected to demand £20m to sell him outright.

However, Southampton is open to selling Ramsdale to Newcastle for the right price, without a permanent option in the current deal.
