Timber acknowledged that a clean sheet is a positive result, but emphasized the importance of building on this momentum.
"It's a good thing and a good foundation to build on," he said. "We need to keep improving and be consistent in what we do. If we can do that, we'll be in a good position throughout the season."
Timber also expressed confidence in the team's ability to maintain their performance level, saying, "If we can keep that going game-by-game, we'll be in a good place."
He praised Palace for their tough defense, but credited his team for finding a way to win a difficult match.
"We played really well, and it was a tough match," he said. "But we found a way to win, and that's the most important thing. A clean sheet is also a good thing, it gives us confidence and a lot of good things to build on."
Timber emphasized the importance of staying grounded and focused, despite the team's good performance.
"We've been doing well, but it's still early in the season," he said. "We just need to keep getting better game by game and not get too high. The next game is already coming up, and it's going to be tough, so let's keep our feet on the ground and keep working hard."
