"It wasn't easy to transition from the Dutch league to the Premier League," Hato said. "The pace and physical demands are much higher, but I was prepared for that."
"Initially, I struggled with the tempo of the game and the physical side, but I've been feeling better with each passing day," Hato explained.
"Now I'm ready to contribute when called upon, and I'm pleased to be making progress and playing more minutes," he added, referencing his 90-minute performance against Ajax.
Hato also points out that Chelsea has a good balance of young and experienced players.
"While our team is younger, we have players with a lot of experience, such as Reece James and Tosin Adarabioyo," Hato said.
"This makes it easier for me to settle in, and I feel like I'm part of a well-rounded team," he concluded.
