According to reports, Fenerbahce is trying to sign Tottenham's Yves Bissouma, which might leave Fred without a place under manager Jose Mourinho. In his previous stint in the Premier League with Manchester United, Fred made 213 appearances and scored 14 goals in five seasons. He is open to returning to the English top flight and the North West of England.
During the 2024/25 season, Fred had a successful campaign with Fenerbahce, contributing to 13 goals in 45 games across all competitions. This caught the attention of Everton manager David Moyes, who previously managed Fred at Manchester United from 2018 to 2023. While Fred's skills might not increase under Moyes, he would bring valuable Premier League experience to the team, helping Everton improve its position in the table.
Moyes also hopes to replace Idrissa Gana Gueye, who is out of contract this summer. Fred's experience and skills make him an ideal candidate to fill Gueye's spot in the team.
